Overview – Being one of the earliest orders of the company, InfoCratus was responsible to carry out an extensive consulting and implementation project as well as technology risk management for the subjected client and its scope.
The client is known as one of the top 5 courier and logistics providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & is directly affiliated to Saudi Post, which happens to be a government department and authority.
The biggest challenge in this assignment was the cultural and linguistic barriers as our consulting team had to interact with all the hierarchies within the organization, spread across 4 locations within the country. At the same time, since some of the managers were catering more than one responsibility, it would often become a challenge to get their dedicated time and inputs through the project execution. The best way to overcome this challenge was to understand the business at a very deep level but also have a really good rapport with all the internal teams involved so that a good ice-breaking is facilitated which would, later on, help the smooth execution of project deliverables.
InfoCratus overcame this challenge by ensuring that all the changes, updates, progress related to the project were routed through the management representative to avoid further confusion and chaos. On the project front, consultants followed a strict adherence to timelines for all the scope activities throughout. As a result of this, InfoCratus was able to deliver the entire scope deliverable a week in advance from the scheduled milestone date. In this entire project duration, InfoCratus leadership team and consultants ensured that activities were moving smoothly and without any obstacles throughout, by displaying top-notch commitment and dedication in an otherwise difficult work environment.
